Helen Attah Honesty has worked with the Ghana Education Service for over twenty years as a primary school teacher. Using her expertise as an educator, mother and community leader she has formed up to thirty girls' clubs in different schools in the West Akim Municipality. As a host mother for Canada World Youth and the University of Minnesota, Helen has hosted nearly two-dozen volunteers from around the globe and is no stranger to cross-cultural learning. Since forming FLOWER in 2007 Helen has served as the Executive Director and continues to act as a positive role model to countless young women. She is also well-known for her kind and pleasant disposition.
