 Ghana Flower outdoors the third and fourth quarter programs with great hope! The next two quarters will see us follow up on currently running initiatives and will include new innovations in the areas of disease prevention and logistics support. Third Quarter July – September 2009 1. Campaign on personal hygiene and appropriate hand washing delivered to 10 schools in the West Akyem district 2. Ongoing follow-up with existing Girl’s clubs. 3. Interactive presentation on non-communicable diseases among 20 Women’s groups in West Akyem district. 4. Malaria Control campaign planning and scheduling 5. Donation of 25 School uniforms to one elementary school located in the district. Fourth Quarter October – December 2009 1. Continued work with Girl’s clubs and Women’s groups in the district. 2. HIV/AIDS campaign commences in pre-selected communities. 3. Monitoring and Evaluation activities undertaken to determine efficacy of FLOWER’s programming. 4. Malaria Control campaign implemented in 15 communities in the district. 5. Non-communicable diseases campaign continues. |
